[Title Goes Here]

Another "I just dont get it" post.

I wonder why niggas expect you tojump at the chance to be the piece on the side. The nigga from the other entries is causing me problems. I shoulda followed my mind and not let him see me at all.

Someone needs to explain to me how its fair for them to have the best of both sides. Why should he get to spend time with me and then go to her? That shit is just wrong. And it ain't fair to me. Why should I mess with your triflin ass when I'll end up alone anyway?

Doesn't that defeat the whole damn purpose of being with someone?

He doesn't get it. Acting all offended because I'm not taking him on the 11th. He really does disgust me. I'm like, if you have such blatant disregard for your girlfriend, how will you respect me? I just dont see that happening.

I hate that feeling when you wonder what someone's thinking but you don't really want to ask.

When talking to people online, you have to take what they say at face value. They could be smirking at you, thinking how fugly you are, and you'd never know. Thats where talking to someone face to face has the upper hand. You can pretty much tell what someone is thinking about you by their face and body language. Online... you have no clue. A lot of times folks build how someone is based on their own imagination, how they feel that someone should look or sound. That leaves the ones in question to try and match up to that image, or risk dissappointing the "friend".

Talk about pressure.

I handed over my cell number to an online friend last night because he wanted to hear my voice. He says my voice is pretty. For some reason I thought his voice would be deeper. He's got a nice voice, but I dont know why I thought it would be deeper for some reason. We talked just fine, but it was much stranger than the AIM convos I'm used to. I'm pretty sure I won't be meeting him. I just don't feel the need to. He's more like a brother, so looks dont really matter. I don't think I looked like he thought I would, and he doesn't exactly sound or look like I thought he would. He's still the same person, my friend, but now its weird. It's a good thing I didn't have a crush on him, because that would be stomped out, I'm sure. That's a major reason why online hook-ups dont appeal to me. Because you spend all that time getting to know someone, you like them and they like you, but then you find out the physical details and suddenly the superficial bullshit hits the fan.

And to think I actually considered AIM as a viable dating medium. What the fuck was I thinking? Ugh.
